Vehicle Repairs
Incidental repairs
The maintenance agreement covers all routine servicing and mechanical repairs not covered by warranty. However, some items are not covered by the agreement, including:
- Broken lenses
- Broken headlamps
- Vandalised aerials
- Paint touch up
- Engine oil topping up
- Broken windscreens
- Minor scratches and bodywork abrasions
The cost of these items will be accepted by Motiva Vehicle Contracts with written approval and a net invoice sent to your organisation.
Authorisation of Other Repairs
The nominated garage will telephone Motiva Vehicle Contracts Customer Service Department to obtain authorisation before commencing repairs other than manufacturer’s regular servicing work, or replacement of brake shoes/pads, bulbs and drive belts, as required within our terms of business.
Speedometer Replacement
Should the speedometer require replacing for any reason, please present the vehicle service record book to the repairer so that the following details may be entered:
- Date of replacement
- Old speedometer mileage reading
- Repairer’s stamp
- Signature of employee entering the details
Please also advise Motiva Vehicle Contracts Customer Service Department to enable the vehicle history to be updated.
